Do people actually win when they play the quizzes?

Yes they do!  Get Me A Quiz gives away a prize a day, so last year we gave away 365 prizes.  Our winners page shows all the winners over the past few years entering in all the various quizzes that we have on the site. Get Me A Quiz is a legitimate, regulated, fun and free to enter quiz-based website.

So how do we know if we have won?

Once a winner has been pulled we email the winner within 96 hours.  The email will arrive from winners@getmeaticket.co.uk so to make sure that you get this email put this address into your contacts and you won’t miss the chance to win the fantastic prizes.

How do I claim my prize?

Once you have received an email from winners@getmeaticket.co.uk you have to reply to it with the postal address that you sign up with.  Once this is done and everything is correct your prize will be dispatched with in the next 28 days. 

Do you have to you sign up to organisations to win?

No, you do not have to sign up to anything you do not wish to in order to enter the competitions.  We always include an option that states "Not Applicable" or "No" so you can consciously opt out of passing your details to our partners.

I don’t have a telephone number, can I still enter?

Absolutely, with regards to the open boxes that we include on the site, we never make as mandatory so you can move through the surveys and hence enter the competitions without filling in these boxes. 

What happens to my personal data when I register?

We may process your personal data ourselves or through data processors who will process data on our behalf (in which case we will remain responsible for ensuring the data processor complies with this Policy and all data protection regulations).

We will register with the appropriate data protection authorities and comply with all data protection regulations.

We will only use your personal data: fairly and lawfully; as set out in the Official Rules and/or this Policy; to the extent necessary for these purposes.

We will ensure that your personal data is not used unless it is accurate and up to date and we will not keep it for longer than necessary.

The personal data which we will use includes your name, email address and other supplied information and whether you have consented to be contacted by specified organisations.

We will pass your personal data to the specified organisations to which you have consented and we and they may contact you to discuss selling you further goods and services. Neither we nor they will pass your personal data on to other third parties.

Why can’t I see the quizzes?

If you are not able to see or hear any of our quizzes it is more than likely you do not have the Flash Player Plugin installed on your computer or you are using an out of date version.

If you are using an Intel based Apple Mac then you will need to upgrade your Flash player also.

Do you have to be based in the UK to sign up for Get Me A Quiz?

You have to be a UK citizen or a legal resident of the UK at all times during the Quiz competition.  However we have quiz sites in Germany, Spain and France if these are relevant for you.
